SANTO DOMINGO.– El periodista y agrónomo Arismendy Rodríguez Ramos falleció en un accidente de tránsito, según informó su hermano, Héctor Rodríguez Pimentel, ex director del Instituto Nacional de Recursos Hidráulicos (Iindrhi) y comentarista radial, a través de un mensaje público este lunes. La irreparable pérdida enluta al gremio periodístico y al sector agropecuario del país.
Rodríguez Pimentel expresó que la familia atraviesa una “honda pena” por la pérdida de Arismendy Rodríguez Ramos, a quien definió como un ser querido y un profesional comprometido tanto con el ejercicio del periodismo como con el ámbito agropecuario, ocupó la presidencia de la Federación de Ganaderos del Cibao (Fegacibao), áreas en las que dejó una huella de servicio y vocación.
Laboró también en los periódicos Listín Diario, El Caribe además en la dirección de de comunicaciones y prensa del Ministerio de Agricultura.
Desde las 12:00 del mediodía de hoy, los restos del destacado comunicador y agrónomo están siendo velados en la funeraria Jardín Memorial, ubicada en la avenida Jacobo Majluta, en Santo Domingo Norte. Familiares, amigos, colegas y allegados se han congregado para acompañar a la familia en este difícil momento.
En su mensaje, Héctor Rodríguez Pimentel elevó una oración por el eterno descanso de su hermano, pidiendo que “el Señor lo acoja en su Santo Seno”, reflejando su fe ante la irreparable pérdida.
