Julio C. Landrón es designado director Servicio Nacional Salud
Julio César Landrón de la Rosa.
SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente de la República designó al doctor Julio César Landrón de la Rosa nuevo director ejecutivo del Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS), en sustitución del doctor Mario Lama Olivero, quien renunció a esta posición.
La designación se realizó conforme a lo establecido en la Ley 123-15, que dispone que el director ejecutivo del SNS debe ser escogido por el Poder Ejecutivo a partir de una terna propuesta por el Ministerio de Salud Pública y Asistencia Social, previa aprobación del Consejo Directivo del SNS.
Esta última fue validada en sesión extraordinaria el 6 de enero de 2026 y remitida al presidente Luis Abinader, completando así el procedimiento institucional correspondiente.

Previo a su nombramiento, Landrón es cirujano ortopedista con maestría en salud pública y formación complementaria en alta gerencia y gestión empresarial en salud. Era hasta este jueves director del Hospital Traumatológico Ney Arias Lora. Ha sido director provincial de salud de la provincia Sánchez Ramírez y ha impartido docencia a residentes del Hospital Darío Contreras.
Con esta designación el Mandatario continúa movimientos iniciados a comienzos de año en la administración pública.
