Cierre parcial de retorno busca reducir accidentes en cruce de Machiplan
VERÓN–PUNTA CANA.– RD Vial, el Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Intrant) y la Dirección General de Seguridad de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Digesett) han implementado una intervención vial en el cruce de Machiplan, Verón–Punta Cana, con el objetivo de reducir los accidentes de tránsito y proteger vidas en esta zona de alta circulación. La medida consiste en el cierre parcial del retorno, permitiendo solo el flujo vehicular en sentido este–oeste, para mejorar el orden del tráfico y disminuir riesgos por maniobras peligrosas.
Según las autoridades, esta acción responde a un estudio técnico previo, motivado por la alta tasa de accidentes en este cruce. Durante la intervención, la Digesett se encargó de la viabilización y el control del tráfico, mientras que RD Vial proporcionó apoyo logístico mediante la colocación de elementos físicos de control vial.
