Presidente Abinader viaja a Chile para transmisión de mando del mandatario electo José Antonio Kast Rist
SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente Luis Abinader salió este martes a la República de Chile para participar en los actos oficiales de la transmisión de mando presidencial de esa nación sudamericana, donde asumirá el nuevo mandatario chileno, José Antonio Kast Rist.
A su llegada a territorio chileno, como parte de la agenda oficial, el mandatario dominicano sostendrá un saludo protocolar junto con otros jefes de Estado y de Gobierno con el presidente de Chile, Gabriel Boric, en el Palacio de La Moneda.
En este encuentro participarán el presidente dominicano, la primera dama Raquel Arbaje; el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Roberto Álvarez, y Adriana Abinader Arbaje.
Posteriormente, el jefe de Estado asistirá a una recepción ofrecida por el presidente Gabriel Boric para las delegaciones internacionales invitadas.
Ceremonia de transmisión de mando presidencial
La agenda oficial continuará el miércoles con la solemne ceremonia de transmisión del mando presidencial y la juramentación del nuevo gabinete en el Salón de Honor del Congreso Nacional, en Valparaíso, donde José Antonio Kast recibirá la banda presidencial y asumirá formalmente como presidente de Chile.
Más tarde, el presidente Abinader participará en un almuerzo ofrecido por el presidente José Antonio Kast y la primera dama de Chile, María Pía Adriasola de Kast, en honor a los jefes de Estado y autoridades invitadas.
Regreso al país
Tras concluir las actividades oficiales, el presidente Abinader y su delegación retornarán el miércoles a la República Dominicana.
