Abinader crea unidad antifraude; investigará delitos contra Estado
SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente Luis Abinader anunció este lunes la creación de una unidad antifraude para investigar casos de defraudación al Estado.
La información fue dada a conocer en la Conferencia de los Estados Partes en la Convención de las Naciones Unidas, vía un video, en el que además destacó la conformación de un equipo legal para recuperar fondos públicos desviados ilícitamente.
El Mandatario resaltó los esfuerzos que ha realizado el Gobierno que encabeza en contra de la corrupción.
Entre ellas la modernización de la Ley de Contrataciones Públicas y la creación de leyes para extinguir el dominio de bienes ilícitos y administrar bienes decomisados al narcotráfico.
Luis Abinader enfatizó que su Gobierno no escatimará esfuerzos para crear las condiciones que permitan un desarrollo sostenible con integridad.
“Aunque solo es un comienzo, hay que continuar porque la corrupción no sólo frena el progreso de las naciones, sino que perpetúa la desigualdad y la injusticia social por ello como presidente no escatimaré esfuerzos junto a ustedes para crear las condiciones que nos permitan un desarrollo sostenible con integridad”, dijo.
