Alejandro Fernández W. se despide de la Superintendencia de Bancos

SANTO DOMINGO.- El analista financiero Alejandro Fernández W. anunció que este 16 de agosto terminan sus funciones al frente de la Superintendencia de Bancos, a la cual ha servido durante los últimos seis años.
De acuerdo al periódico El Dinero, el ejecutivo agradeció al presidente Luis Abinader por darle la oportunidad de servir al país desde una posición tan fundamental para lograr transformaciones en beneficio de República Dominicana.
“Fue una decisión que, como se imaginan, he venido discerniendo por mucho tiempo y a la que llegué, junto a mi familia, con paz y convicción”, expresó.
En sus palabras de despedida, dedicadas también a sus hijos y esposa, reveló que a principios de abril de este año solicitó formalmente al Presidente que no considerara la renovación de su gestión al vencimiento del período actual, el próximo 16 de agosto.
Refirió que como superintendente agradece haber compartido con un equipo de altísimo nivel técnico y comprometido con las mejores causas del país. Agradeció el apoyo recibido por la Junta de Monetaria.
Dio las gracias a la Junta Monetaria, por el acompañamiento con seriedad y altura en cada decisión difícil y se mostró seguro que la institución quedará en las mejores manos.
