Aprueban 10 empresas zonas francas, crearían 1300 empleos
Reunión del CNZFE donde fueron aprobadas las nuevas compañías.
SANTO DOMINGO.- El Consejo Directivo del Consejo Nacional de Zonas Francas de Exportación (CNZFE) aprobó la instalación de 10 nuevas empresas de zonas francas que contemplan una inversión de US$22 mil 673 millones para generar 1,296 empleos directos.
Las nuevas compañías operan las áreas de call centers, reciclaje, procesamiento de tabaco, manufactura textil, servicios de almacenaje, entre otras, y estarán ubicadas en el Distrito Nacional, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal y Santiago.
DESEMPEÑO
Al resaltar el dinamismo del sector, el director ejecutivo del CNZFE, Daniel Liranzo, refirió que registró un crecimiento de 22% en 2021 respecto a 2020, equivalente a US$1,350 millones.
El monto exportado en 2021 fue US$7,177.7 millones, mientras que en 2020 ascendió a US$5,827.7 millones.
