Auditarán haitianos se acogieron a Plan Nacional de Regularización
Reunión del Consejo Nacional de Migración.
SANTO DOMINGO.- El Consejo Nacional de Migración auditará a los 200 mil extranjeros que legalizaron su estatus por medio al Plan de Nacional de Regularización implementado por el gobierno de Danilo Medina, informó este lunes el Ministerio de Interior y Policía.
Explicó que el Consejo de Migración busca con la nueva medida regularizar la inmigración en la República Dominicana.
Más temprano el presidente Luis Abinader había anunciado que el Gobierno tomaría “medidas migratorias más drásticas” con Haití.
ORIENTACIÓN A SECTORES PRODUCTIVOS
El Consejo también acordó reunirse con representantes de sectores productivos del país para orientarlos sobre las nuevas medidas, a fin de que conozcan en detalle los pasos a seguir «a la hora de contratar los extranjeros, conforme a las disposiciones de la Ley de Migración y su reglamento”. También se buscará conocer sus necesidades de mano de obra.
La reunión con este propósito se llevará a cabo el próximo lunes 15 de noviembre Los puntos acordados serán presentados al presidente Abinader en una reunión que éste sostendrá con el Consejo Nacional de Migración
