Banreservas rechaza embargo de fondos a la Junta Electoral
SANTO DOMINGO.– El Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana (Banreservas) informó que no ha ejecutado ningún embargo sobre los fondos de la Junta Central Electoral (JCE) .
Aseguró que los recursos de ese organismo continúan disponibles para el cumplimiento de sus funciones institucionales.
La entidad financiera emitió un comunicado en el que precisó que las cuentas de la JCE mantienen su operatividad normal y que cualquier versión sobre una supuesta retención o inmovilización de fondos carece de fundamento.
Explicó que actúa conforme al marco legal vigente y reiteró su compromiso con la transparencia, la seguridad jurídica y el adecuado manejo de los recursos depositados en la institución.
Destacó que la Junta Central Electoral continúa teniendo acceso a sus fondos y puede realizar sus operaciones financieras habituales sin restricciones, garantizando así la continuidad de los servicios que presta a la ciudadanía.
Subrayó que mantiene una relación institucional de respeto y colaboración con los organismos del Estado, en apego a las disposiciones legales y regulatorias que rigen el sistema financiero nacional.
El pronunciamiento de Banreservas se produce en medio de informaciones que circularon sobre un supuesto embargo a los recursos de la Junta Central Electoral, versión que fue desmentida por el banco estatal.
