Club Payero inaugura su 57 Torneo Interno dedicado al empresario Roberto Rojas
SANTO DOMINGO.- El club deportivo y cultural Payero celebró su torneo interno número 57 dedicado al empresario de la industria del transporte en Nueva York Roberto Rojas, realizado en el estadio Miguel Angel Payero, del Polvorín de Villa Mella.
Rojas, quien también es un político que aspira a ser diputado de la comunidad dominicana en el exterior, agradeció tal distinción, evento que además distinguió a otras reconocidas personalidades.
«Quiero resaltar y agradecer la dedicatoria de este evento porque viene de una autoridad deportiva como es lel Club Payero, el cual pertenece al barrio que me vió crecer, Cristo Rey» , dijo.
Agregó que «me siento más que honrado al estar aquí en un evento como este donde también están personalidades reconocidas como el presidente de la Cámara de Diputados Alfredo Pacheco, y el viceministro de Industria y Comercio Víctor -Ito- Bisonó.
«Quiero expresar que «el trabajo que viene llevando a cabo el club Payero a favor de niños y jóvenes por tantos años, hay que apoyarlo”, exclamó Rojas.
Además del destacado empresario y los antes señalados también se reconoció el apoyo brindado a la institución deportiva a la señora Rosa Bonetti, Ramón Álvarez, y Olga García, quienes recibieron reconocimientos departe del Licenciado Genio Payero, presidente de la entidad organizadora.
