Educación y ADP firman acuerdo que incluye viviendas, aumentos y nivelaciones salariales

SANTO DOMINGO.- El Gobierno y la Asociación Dominicana de Profesores (ADP) firmaron este miércoles, Día del Maestro, un acuerdo que contempla mejoras de vida para los profesores y del ejercicio profesional del sector magisterial, dentro de los que se encuentran aumento y nivelación salarial, seguro médico y viviendas.
El acuerdo fue firmado por el ministro de Educación, Roberto Fulcar y la presidenta de la ADP, Xiomara Guante, en presencia del presidente Luis Abinader, en un acto que tuvo lugar en el Palacio Nacional.
El convenio cuenta de ocho ámbitos que incluyen, además de compromisos con la estabilidad laboral, apoyo al Plan Estratégico del Ministerio de Educación, incentivos y de capacitación para el magisterio.
Asimismo, una política de recuperación y acompañamiento preventivo y correctivo de la planta física escolar y llenar de contenidos útiles y de valores la tanda extendida, a través de las Cátedras Ciudadanas.
Al hablar tras el acto de firma, el presidente Abinader garantizó que el Gobierno cumplirá cada punto y cada coma, que conllevará a realizar de una vez por todas una «real revolución educativa».
La presidenta de la ADP, Xiomara Guante, calificó de histórico el acuerdo no solo por su contenido, sino también porque se firma sin que se haya realizado un paro magisterial ni una confrontación.
Reconoció el nuevo estilo de gestión concertadora que impera en el MINERD, así como los ambiciosos planes en marcha para transformar la educación y dignificar al magisterio dominicano.
