Minerd anuncia más de 2 millones niños recibirán nuevos uniformes

SANTO DOMINGO.- El Ministerio de Educación (Minerd) anunció este sábado que más de dos millones de niños recibirán uniformes el próximo año escolar.
El ministro Ángel Hernández expresó que los uniformes serán entregados a través del Instituto Nacional de Bienestar Estudiantil (Inabie).
“Todos los años el Minerd, vía el Inabie, entrega uniformes a los niños. Este año 2022-2023 fueron beneficiados 600 mil. Para 2023-2024 lo recibirán 2,100,000”, indicó el funcionario a través de Twitter.
Señaló que este incremento en el total de estudiantes beneficiados se debe a un “aumento en la inversión”, sin especificar el monto exacto de la misma.
Por otro lado, agregó que el color de los uniformes no tiene ninguna incidencia en su precio, sino más bien la cantidad.
“El color no incide en el precio. Es la cantidad a entregar a los más pobres. Es justicia social”, puntualizó el ministro en su tuit.
