Miriam Germán aclara no fue consultada sobre la reforma constitucional
Miriam Germán Brito.
SANTO DOMINGO.- La magistrada Miriam Germán Brito le dejó claro al consultor Jurídico del Poder Ejecutivo, Antoliano Peralta Romero, que la Procuraduría General de la República (PGR) no fue consultada respecto al proyecto de reforma constitucional que promueve el presidente Luis Abinader.
En una escueta carta a dicho funcionario, Germán Brito dice que no se le ha pedido opinión de manera personal ni institucional respecto a los requisitos y mecanismos para la designación del Procurador General de la República ni para integrar el Consejo Nacional del Ministerio Público.
NO HA EMITIDO OPINION ALGUNA SOBRE EL PROYECTO
“Por tanto, dejo por este medio constancia de que no he remitido ni a título personal ni en mi calidad de Procuradora General de la República, ninguna opinión sobre el particular”, indica la Magistrada.
El presidente Abinader promueve una reforma a la Constitución que busca, entre otras cosas, lograr la independencia del Ministerio Público.
