Natalicio de Anthony Ríos será recordado con un concierto en Lungomare
Anthony Ríos cumpliría 76 años de edad.
SANTO DOMINGO.- La música, los recuerdos y las historias volverán a reunir a quienes admiraron a Anthony Ríos durante una velada especial organizada para conmemorar el 76 aniversario de su natalicio, el próximo viernes 17 de julio, a las 9:00 de la noche, en Lungomare Bar & Lounge, ubicado en el malecón del Distrito Nacional.
Pero el homenaje irá mucho más allá de la música. La producción ha sido concebida como un espacio abierto para que fanáticos, amigos, artistas y personas que compartieron momentos con Anthony Ríos participen activamente de la celebración, subiendo al escenario para cantar sus canciones, contar anécdotas y compartir historias vividas junto al artista.
La actividad, producida por el gestor cultural Raphy D’Oleo, tendrá como invitada a la cantante Johanna Almánzar, acompañada por Rumberos La Banda, quienes protagonizarán un concierto bailable.
“Los amigos de Anthony Ríos estarán esa noche para cantar sus canciones en karaoke y compartir sus vivencias. Nuestra intención es que el público disfrute del legado de nuestro gran artista en una noche que siempre van a recordar”, dijo D’Oleo.
Johanna Almánzar interpretará algunos de los temas más emblemáticos del repertorio de Anthony Ríos, entre ellos Señora tristeza, Estoy a tu orden, La Z, Estás donde no estás y Jaula de oro, canciones que marcaron su carrera y continúan siendo referentes de la música romántica dominicana.
Reconocida por su versatilidad, fuerza interpretativa y la capacidad de conectar con el público, Almánzar asume el reto de rendir tributo a una de las voces más importantes de la música nacional, acompañada por el sonido de Rumberos La Banda.
La noche también incluirá karaoke, cuentos y vivencias en un ambiente íntimo y participativo, donde el protagonista será el recuerdo de Anthony Ríos y el cariño que aún despierta entre varias generaciones de dominicanos.
Un legado que permanece vigente
Froilán Antonio Rodríguez Jiménez, conocido artísticamente como Anthony Ríos, nació el 17 de julio de 1950 en el paraje Las Cañitas, municipio de Sabana de la Mar, provincia Hato Mayor.
Tras darse a conocer junto a Johnny Ventura, desarrolló una exitosa carrera como solista que lo convirtió en uno de los grandes exponentes de la balada romántica dominicana. Además de cantante y compositor, se destacó como actor, humorista y locutor.
Su talento como compositor trascendió su propia carrera. Escribió canciones para artistas como Fernando Villalona, Sophy, Yolandita Monge, Lisette Álvarez, Pastor López y Fernando Allende, además de inmortalizar con su propia voz éxitos como Señora tristeza, Estoy a tu orden, La Z, Estás donde no estás y Jaula de oro.
Anthony Ríos falleció el 4 de marzo de 2019, pero su legado artístico continúa vivo y sigue conquistando nuevas generaciones.
Con esta producción, Raphy D’Oleo busca convertir el aniversario del natalicio del artista en una celebración colectiva, donde la música, los recuerdos y las experiencias compartidas mantengan viva la memoria de uno de los cantautores más queridos de la República Dominicana.
