PEDERNALES.- Un total de 815 libras de marihuana fueron ocupadas por el Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Fronteriza Terrestre (CESFRONT) y la Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) un camión interceptado en esta zona del suroeste de la República Dominicana.
La droga estaba en el techo y otras partes del vehículo marca Mitsubishi, modelo Fuso, tipo furgón, blanco, que era conducido por dos hombres que fueron detenidos. Hasta el momento no han sido identificados
Fue necesario utilizar herramientas para desmantelar la parte superior del vehículo, donde fueron encontrados 187 paquetes del vegetal, con un peso preliminar de 815.9 libras.
El Cesfront y la DNCD han decomisado más de 2,000 libras de marihuana en los últimos meses, en operativos en zonas fronterizas.
