PRM ratifica a Federico Reynoso como secretario general en Santiago

SANTIAGO. – El Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM) ratificó este fin de semana a Federico Reynoso como secretario general de la organización en el municipio de Santiago de los Caballeros para un tercer período consecutivo, durante una Asamblea de Delegados celebrada en el marco de la XXIV Convención Nacional Ordinaria Orlando Jorge Mera.
Con esta decisión, la dirigencia del PRM reafirma la continuidad de la gestión de Reynoso al frente de la Secretaría General, responsabilidad desde la que continuará coordinando los trabajos organizativos y políticos de la organización con miras a los procesos electorales de 2028, indica un comunicado.
Al asumir nuevamente el cargo, Reynoso agradeció el respaldo recibido por los delegados y aseguró que continuará trabajando para fortalecer la estructura partidaria en el municipio y en la provincia.
«Por Santiago, por el país y por el Partido Revolucionario Moderno, asumimos esta responsabilidad con gallardía, con dedicación y con transparencia para que el PRM alcance nuevamente el poder en el año 2028», expresó.
El dirigente político destacó los resultados obtenidos por la organización en los últimos procesos electorales en Santiago: “en las elecciones de 2020 el PRM obtuvo el 62 % de los votos en la provincia y que en los comicios de 2024 ese respaldo aumentó hasta alcanzar el 65 %”, cifras que atribuyó “al trabajo desarrollado por la dirigencia y la militancia”.
Manifestó su confianza en que la organización superará esos niveles de respaldo en las Elecciones Presidenciales y Congresuales de 2028 mediante el fortalecimiento de su estructura territorial y el trabajo permanente con las bases.
Durante su intervención, Reynoso también resaltó el respaldo de la provincia a la gestión del presidente Luis Abinader y afirmó que el Gobierno ejecuta en Santiago una inversión superior a los RD$110 mil millones, destinada a la construcción y desarrollo de 221 obras de infraestructura que impactan distintos sectores de la provincia.
La Asamblea contó con la participación de destacadas autoridades y dirigentes del Partido, entre ellos la gobernadora provincial y presidenta del PRM en Santiago, Rosa Santos; el vicepresidente provincial y alcalde del municipio de Santiago, Ulises Rodríguez; el secretario general provincial y alcalde del municipio de Puñal, doctor José Enrique Romero; y, el presidente municipal del PRM, Andrés Cueto.
También asistieron el senador por Santiago, doctor Daniel Rivera, y los diputados Zoraida Suárez, Fausto Domínguez y Silvio Reyes, así como miembros de la dirección provincial, dirigentes y delegados de la organización política.
