Senador Dagoberto Rodríguez valora inicio de licitaciones para mejorar infraestructura vial en Independencia
SANTO DOMINGO.- El senador por la provincia Independencia, Dagoberto Rodríguez Adames, destacó este miércoles el anuncio del Ministerio de Obras Públicas sobre la apertura de varias licitaciones para ejecutar soluciones viales largamente demandadas por las comunidades de esa demarcación.
Durante un turno en el hemiciclo, el legislador expresó su agradecimiento por la decisión, reconocimiento que dirigió primero a Dios y luego al ministro de Obras Públicas, Eduardo Estrella, a quien definió como un aliado en la gestión de mejoras para la zona. Rodríguez Adames afirmó que por años habían solicitado la intervención de la carretera Batey 7, 8, y 9, un tramo que, según dijo, se vuelve intransitable cada vez que llueve, generando caos y afectando la movilidad de los residentes.
El senador también resaltó la publicación de las licitaciones para las carreteras Jimaní Duvergé y Duvergé Barahona, vías que calificó como deterioradas debido al paso del tiempo. Señaló que estas carreteras fueron construidas en la anterior gestión de Eduardo Estrella como secretario de Obras Públicas y que, desde entonces, no habían recibido una intervención significativa.
Asimismo, agradeció la atención al reclamo por el asfaltado de la entrada de Duvergé, obra que, según afirmó llevaba más de tres años en espera. Indicó que a partir de enero se esperan avances concretos en las distintas obras viales contempladas.
Rodríguez Adames también valoró la inclusión del proyecto “Vuelta al Lago Enriquillo” dentro de las iniciativas en proceso, y reiteró su agradecimiento al presidente Luis Abinader y al ministro Estrella por atender las necesidades históricas de la provincia Independencia.
