TSE resolvió en 4 años todos los reclamos en materia electoral
SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente del Tribunal Superior Electoral (TSE), Ygnacio Camacho Hidalgo, informó este martes que ese organismo resolvió en los cuatro años de su gestión, la totalidad de los casos en materia electoral que le fueron apoderados, emitiendo las sentencias, resoluciones y ordenanzas correspondientes.
El magistrado destacó en un nota, que en el ámbito contencioso electoral, el Tribunal conoció diversas demandas, incluyendo acciones de amparo preventivo y ordinario, nulidades de precandidaturas, solicitudes de recuento de boletas, revisiones de resultados electorales e impugnaciones relativas a los procesos electorales.
A nivel general, el TSE emitió 19,304 decisiones o sentencias, durante el período de cuatro años.

Entre esas decisiones figuran casos contenciosos electorales, cambios de nombres y rectificaciones de actas del estado civil. Resaltó los logros en su labor jurisdiccional y administrativa, según nota del TSE.
Camacho explicó que, del total de las decisiones emitidas, el 92 % correspondió a rectificaciones de actas del estado civil (17,795), el 4.5 % a solicitudes de cambio, supresión o añadidura de nombres (841) y el 3.5 % a casos contenciosos electorales (668).
Asimismo, entre julio de 2021 y mayo de 2025, el Pleno del TSE sesionó en 606 ocasiones, de las cuales un 74 % fueron jurisdiccionales y el 26 % administrativas. En ese mismo período se conocieron 923 audiencias públicas, 457 sesiones jurisdiccionales y 149 sesiones administrativas.
