TSE se pronuncia en contra de las demandas en Higuey y Baní
SANTO DOMINGO.- El Tribunal Superior electoral (TSE) aplazó para el próximo jueves la demanda de nulidad de la candidatura de Karina Aristy a la alcaldía de Higuey, interpuesta por la sociedad civil.
La pausa fue solicitada por las siete entidades sociales que presentaron la ¨Demanda en nulidad de candidatura e imposición de astreinte conminatoria¨ contra Aristy.
Las dos partes involucrados coincidieron en la necesidad de conocer los documentos depositados en el expediente.
Además, para que los demandantes regularicen la demanda en intervención forzosa anunciada en la instrucción del proceso.
DECLARAN INADMISIBLE ACCIÓN DE AMPARO
Asimismo, también el Tribunal declaró inadmisible este sábado la acción de Amparo de Extrema Urgencia contra la Resolución número 03-2024, de la Junta Electoral de Baní, provincia Peravia.
Ese documento declaró inhabilitada a la candidata a regidora Johanny Patricia Báez Martínez para participar en las elecciones municipales de mañana por el Partido Fuerza del Pueblo.
El proceso fue declarado libre de costas y los magistrados dispusieron que la sentencia sea notificada a las partes, vía Secretaría General y publicada en el portal institucional del TSE para los fines de rigor.
La Junta Electoral de Baní se pronunció tras una objeción contra Báez Martínez, bajo el argumento de que existe una sentencia condenatoria con pena aflictiva e infamante suspendida.
