Empujan a un hombre sobre las vías del tren 1 en el Alto Manhattan; presuntamente es dominicano

NUEVA YORK.- Un hombre fue empujado a las vías del metro en la estación de la calle Dyckman, en el sector de Inwood, en el Alto Manhattan, según informó la Policía.
La víctima, no identificada por las autoridades, es presuntamente dominicana y logró subir, herida, por sus propios medios al andén antes de que llegara el tren 1 que pasa por el lugar. El hecho ocurrió a las 4:00 p.m. del pasado sábado.
Fue trasladado a un hospital local para recibir tratamiento. El agresor huyó del lugar inmediatamente después de cometer el hecho. Fue descrito vistiendo una camisa y pantalones azules.
Cerca de un millón 500 mil pasajeros abordan anualmente el tren 1 en dicha estación, más del 80 % de ellos de origen dominicano.
El metro de NYC cuenta con 472 estaciones operativas, funcionando 24/7, conectando los cinco distritos a través de 25 rutas.
