Ministro de Deportes felicita a los Tigres del Licey por su corona 23

SANTO DOMINGO.- El ministro de Deportes, Francisco Camacho, felicitó de manera efusiva al equipo Tigres del Licey por la conquista de su corona 23 en la edición 69 del Torneo de Béisbol Dominicano 2022-2023, competición dedicada a Tomás Troncoso Cuesta in memoriam.
Camacho resaltó el gran trabajo realizado por cada uno de los jugadores, mánager, sus asistentes y los directivos del conjunto azul por alcanzar su el título tras derrotar 2-1 a las Estrellas Orientales en el quinto partido de la serie final, cuyo desenlace quedó cuatro victorias contra una.
“Me llena de regocijo el triunfo obtenido por el Licey, sin dudas un gran club de nuestro gran pasatiempo rey; logro alcanzado con gran gallardía, dedicación y profesionalidad mostradas en el terreno de juego”, expresó Camacho, a través de una misiva.
En ese sentido, el ministro felicitó de manera grata a la junta directiva del combinado azul, que preside Ricardo Ravelo Jana, a su equipo de operaciones que encabeza Audo Vicente, al dirigente José Offerman y los integrantes del cuerpo de instructores, pero muy en particular a esos jugadores que se esforzaron desde los primeros días de la serie regular para ir en busca del anhelado cetro.
“Es un esfuerzo que debemos reconocer, un brillante desempeño en conjunto, en el que se aglutinaron los diversos factores existentes en el juego”, añadió.
Camacho, además, deseó el mejor de los éxitos para los Tigres del Licey que representarán al país en la Serie del Caribe que se celebrará en Venezuela en febrero venidero.
El funcionario, asimismo, tuvo palabras de elogio para la directiva y jugadores de las Estrellas, que batallaron en el terreno en busca de resultar campeones.
También felicitó a la Liga Dominicana de Béisbol Profesional (Lidom), que preside Vitelio Mejía, porque nueva vez organizó un campeonato que culminó por todo lo alto.
