Leonardo Vásquez impulsa renovación política en la región Este 1 del PRM

SANTO DOMINGO.- El regidor y dirigente del Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), Leonardo Vásquez, afirmó este jueves que el momento político actual exige una renovación responsable basada en el relevo generacional, la inclusión y el fortalecimiento democrático de las estructuras partidarias, especialmente en la región Este 1 de la circunscripción número 3.
Vásquez sostuvo que el crecimiento y la consolidación del PRM dependen de garantizar una participación real de la base, promoviendo una dirección más abierta, cercana y representativa, en la que todos los sectores del partido se sientan identificados y escuchados, destaca una nota de prensa.
“El partido necesita continuar evolucionando, fortaleciendo la democracia interna y creando espacios donde la militancia tenga voz y protagonismo en la toma de decisiones”, expresó.
En ese sentido, el dirigente indicó que, de asumir la presidencia de la región, impulsará una gestión orientada a la unidad, la eficiencia organizativa y la construcción de consensos, sin dejar de promover los cambios necesarios que demandan las bases.
Asimismo, señaló que el PRM se encamina hacia un proceso democrático en el año 2026 para la elección de sus autoridades, destacando que, mientras en algunas demarcaciones el consenso puede ser el camino, en otras resulta imprescindible abrir espacios a la renovación democrática. A su juicio, la región Este 1 requiere un proceso participativo que refleje el sentir mayoritario de la militancia.
Vásquez aseguró que diferentes mediciones y sondeos en redes sociales reflejan un respaldo creciente a su liderazgo dentro de la base del partido, lo que reafirma la necesidad de garantizar un proceso transparente, competitivo y democrático.
Finalmente, reiteró su compromiso con el fortalecimiento institucional del PRM y con la construcción de una estructura política más inclusiva, moderna y conectada con las aspiraciones de la ciudadanía.
