SANTO DOMINGO.- Yunesky Maya tiró cinco y dos tercios de entradas de una carrera y Yairo Muñoz conectó doble y sencillo productores de dos vueltas para que las Águilas Cibaeñas vencieran 4-1 a los Tigres del Licey, en la continuación del Torneo de Béisbol Invernal, en el estadio Quisqueya.
Los aguiluchos consiguieron su séptimo triunfo al hilo y el segundo en línea ante los azules para quedarse solos el primer lugar con récord de 15-6, a un juego completo precisamente de los bengaleses.
De su lado, los Tigres cayeron por segundo día seguido para poner su marca en 13-6, y colocar la serie particular 3-2 ante las Cuyayas.

LA ROMANA.- El pitcheo de los Leones del Escogido permitió solo tres imparables a los Toros del Este, pero cayeron por la mínima 1-0, en un partido celebrado en el estadio Francisco A. Micheli.
El abridor Víctor Santos tiró dos entradas de un ponche, siendo relevado por Denyi Reyes, que toleró la única vuelta del encuentro en el cuarto episodio, cuando Rodolfo Castro recibió base por bolas, e imparables consecutivos de Jesús Sánchez y Yamaico Navarro produjeron la anotación taurina.
