Chu Vásquez sobre Alburquerque: «es la persona más inteligente con la que he trabajado»

SANTO DOMINGO.- El cónsul general de la República Dominicana en la ciudad de Nueva York, Jesús Chu Vásquez, resaltó este sábado las cualidades humanas que caracteriban al ingeniero Ramón Alburquerque, quien falleció la mañana del viernes a consecuencia de un cáncer de hígado.
Al acudir a la funeraria Jardín Momorial, donde son velados los restos del exsenador de la República, el funcionario destacó la inteligencia de Alburquerque y sostuvo que el país ha perdido uno de sus grandes líderes.
«El país ha perdido un gran hombre, un gran líder, una persona sumamente capaz, brillante, es la persona más inteligente con la que yo he trabajado», expresó Vásquez.
De igual manera, recordó que Alburquerque, conjuntamente con Hugo Tolentino Dipp fueron los que plantearon la necesida de que abandonaran el Partido Revlucionario Dominicano (PRD) y crearan el Revolucionario Moderno (PRM).
«Fue un hombre profundamente inteligente y que sobretodo llevó iniciativas importantísimas, Ramón tuvo que haber sido el primero o el segundo mejor senador que ha tenido República Dominicana», argumentó.
También, calificó de enormes las contribuciones de Alburquerque al frente del Congreso Nacional en sus años como legislador representando a la provincia Monte Plata.
«Fue un hombre profundamente inteligente y que sobretodo llevó iniciativas importantísimas, Ramón tuvo que haber sido el primero o el segundo mejor senador que ha tenido República Dominicana», argumentó.
