Diputados aprueban en segunda discusión reforma a ley sobre estados de excepción en RD

SANTO DOMINGO.- La Cámara de Diputados aprobó este martes en segunda discusión, el proyecto de ley que modifica el capítulo IV de la Ley 21-18 sobre regulación de los estados de excepción contemplados por la Constitución de la República Dominicana.
La iniciativa legislativa, de la autoría del diputado Eugenio Cedeño, ahora pasa al Senado de la República para su conocimiento en esa sala del Congreso Nacional.
La modificación a la referida ley tiene el objetivo de establecer disposiciones relativas a la organización del régimen sancionador, en las que se determine con mayor claridad y precisión el tipo de infracciones que se puedan cometer en caso de incumplimiento y las sanciones a imponer por parte del tribunal competente.
De aprobarse en el Senado, la disposición legal establecería tres niveles de infracciones que son:
- Leves: infracciones que causan un grado mínimo de afectación a la salud, la seguridad ciudadana y el orden público.
- Graves: infracciones que causan un grado intermedio de afectación a la salud, la seguridad ciudadana y el orden público.
- Y muy graves: infracciones que causan un grado alto de afectación a la salud, la seguridad ciudadana y el orden público.
También, los diputados aprobaron un grupo de resoluciones mediante las cuales solicitan al Poder Ejecutivo la construcción y remozamiento de obras civiles, así como la instalación de oficinas de entidades públicas en diferentes municipios del país.
Previo al inicio de la sesión, el pleno rindió un minuto de silencio a la memoria de la señora Ramona Rodríguez, madre de la diputada Nelly Feliz Rodríguez, así como por la señora Dulce Ali Filpo, quien en vida fuera una líder del servicio comunitario de San Francisco de Macorís, según señala un comunicado de prensa.
Al finalizar los trabajos legislativos de este martes, los diputados fueron convocados para mañana miércoles a las 12:00 del mediodía.
